The NW Sutherland Community Leisure Centre is a proposed community-led project developed by a newly formed SCIO comprising members of the local community. The group aims to build a small leisure facility in Kinlochbervie to meet the needs of residents across North West Sutherland, where the nearest comparable facilities are over an hour away. The planned centre would include a swimming pool, gym, sauna, soft play area, changing facilities and a reception area with office and seating space. The project is currently seeking funding to commission an architectural feasibility study to explore design options, planning considerations, building costs, governance arrangements and potential delivery partnerships such as High Life Highland.
